A recent birthday illustration for a former collegue at mine. I usually don't post things like this, but this one was rather fun, challenging, and I was rather pleased with the end result. (as was the client, more importantly!) All the characters, details, and even the room were based on photo's the client provided from real life. Quite challenging to get some of the likenesses down, but adding recognizable props helps clarify things. All done in Photoshop and later printed on canvas.
